Dayne Michalak is a committed therapist with expertise in a range of evidence-based approaches designed to improve mental health and promote personal growth. With a focus on Affect Regulation Therapy, Dayne takes a person-centred approach, offering a supportive and understanding environment for clients to explore their emotions and experiences. Incorporating Solution-Focused Therapy, Dayne works with clients to identify their strengths and resources to achieve their goals. 

Through Narrative Therapy, they empower clients to reframe their personal stories in a way that fosters resilience. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) plays a key role in Dayne’s practice, helping clients accept their thoughts and emotions while moving towards actions that are in line with their values. Dayne also uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to assist clients in recognising and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours, supporting healthier coping strategies. 

With a strong focus on neurodiversity, Dayne provides specialised support for individuals with ADHD, ADD, Autism, and Asperger’s Syndrome. Drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience, Dayne offers tailored interventions that respect the unique challenges and strengths of the neurodiverse community, fostering a sense of acceptance and empowerment.
